Coupe was on tour in France in 2003 to play a soldier in an all-female King Lear version. The show she performed as a solo artist, The Patriots (a sketch show by her) first aired in November of 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She won the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. In March 2006, she got married to Randall Whittinghill an actor and puppeteer. Coupe was engaged to actor teacher and puppeteer Randall Whittinghill from December 2007 to June 2013.She announced her engagement to Darin Olien, founder of SuperLife, a lifestyle brand SuperLife, via Instagram on November 27, 2014. They were in vacation in New Zealand when they got married on the 24th of December 2014. In the year 2018 they divorced. From April 2011 to May 2013 Coupe was a part of the ABC ensemble comedy series Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. The show was canceled by ABC on May 3, 2013, in spite of the critical acclaim. It also gained an audience of cult. After Happy Endings was cancelled, she played a recurring part in the third season of House of Lies. She also appeared alongside Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It premiered on October 28th in 2014. She later starred in the ABC thriller Quantico playing the recurring role as FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
