Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director, producer, playwright and educator in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother is an Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her perform in play rehearsals. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011, after she converted to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton on April 11, 2011.
