Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on the 19th of June, 1978. Her father was Dominican while her mother was Puerto Rican. She was born in Queens. The family she was raised with moved from Queens in New York, to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived there for seven years.
