Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson was an American actress. Elson started her career in the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her most famous role was Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson on CBS' science fiction series. Andrea won the role of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986), after auditioning. The actress worked for several popular TV shows, including Movies of the Day before making the decision to leave the industry and concentrate to her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner her teenager daughter Kate and Willie - at a time in which she went through a difficult time. People published an article where Elson outlined how hard it was for her to transition into an actress in her early years and to be on an upcoming sitcom. Born on March 6, 1969 in New York City, this green-eyed actor grew up travelling as a result of her father's position as an advertising executive. When she reached 10 years old, Andrea had already been to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea had her first successful audition in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco was in favor of the idea saying, "ALF can drink beer because he is older than 285." ALF was becoming more and increasingly popular with children, so NBC informed Fusco not to drink alcohol because children were watching. He's a poor image model. Fusco maintained that he believed ALF to be an adult and that he could manage the drinking. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was successfully treated and remained in remission until 2019. The 26th of June, 2019 at age 75, he passed away from cancer at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood New Jersey.
