Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl is an American actress, comedian, TV host, and most famous for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She grew up caring for her younger sibling Frankie. Frankie was a victim of polio. As a teenager, she experienced an uneasy relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was being too close with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. She became the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. She has appeared as host on The Talk since 2011. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
