Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and performer famous for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has an extremely troubled family. She was a troubled child. growing up taking care of her older sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. She was in trouble with her mother while growing as a teenager. Sheryl stated she was once told that her mother had stabbed one of the parents to her son as she was getting close to her. Sheryl enlisted in the military after her college graduation. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first woman to reach the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV professional career in 1992 after she was a regular actor in the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of Oh Drama! Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started appearing in The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has played the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
