Jessica Barden is an English actress who is better known for her performance as Alyssa in Channel 4's comedy-drama show The End of the World from 2017 to 2019. Then, in March of 2007, she began playing the character of Kayleigh Morton in the ITV soap drama Coronation Street continuing until September 2008 when the Morton family left Coronation Street. In 2007, Barden made her film debut in the comedy-drama Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution. She starred in 2009 as in the role of Pea for the stage show Jerusalem which was staged at the Royal Court Theatre in London and was later transferred to the Apollo Theatre in the West End.
